Tight race has Earnest and Schires ranked #2 and #3 on latest WIAA D1 3-Point Challenge Leaderboard

Green Bay— In the final week of regular season action, a tight race has a pair of Wisconsin Valley rivals ranked at the top of the WIAA Division 1 3-Point Challenge Leaderboard.

Leah Earnest of SPASH is ranked second, making  38.9% of her attempts.

Maddie Schires of Wausau West is right behind in third, connecting on 37.9% of her attempts.


Contest Information

The WIAA will again sponsor a 3-Point Challenge as part of the Girls Basketball State Tournament. To be eligible coaches must enter player information on wissports.net in order for the players to be eligible.The top two players in each division based on shooting percentage (min. 75 attempts) will be selected to participate.

The 3-Point Challenge will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 9:30 am at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Fans can attend the event with tickets from the morning/afternoon session.
