Wausau— Take a look at the Team of the Week candidates and vote today!

Wausau West Boys Hockey– The Warriors are Wisconsin Valley Conference champions after knocking off SPASH on Friday night.
Marshfield Girls Basketball– There probably weren’t many people who thought the Tigers had a chance against Wausau West on Friday night, but Marshfield rose to the occasion and downed the Warriors for a big upset win.
Stratford Wrestling– The Stratford Tigers advanced 11 wrestlers to sectionals, picking up nine titles on Saturday.
Spencer/Columbus Wrestling: Spencer/Columbus wrestlers fared well at regional action, claiming three first place finishes and three second finishes to advance six to sectional action.
D.C. Everest Girls Basketball– The Evergreens pulled out a nice come from behind win over Rapids on Friday night to pick up their fourth conference victory.
Abbotsford Girls Basketball– In a back and forth game, the Falcons made free throws down the stretch and held off Marathon to pick up a 58-50 win.
Newman Girls Basketball– The Cardinals’ defense was the star of the show on Friday night as they limited Rib Lake to 17 points overall. Rib Lake managed just five points in the second half in the 63-17 Newman win.
Medford wrestling-– Medford took the regional title on Saturday, earning 245 points.
Loyal Girls Basketball— The Greyhounds picked up a big overtime win over Columbus, defeating the Dons 44-43.
Neillsville Girls Basketball— The Warriors destroyed Granton in Cloverbelt play, 66-16.
Auburndale Boys Basketball-– Auburndale held off Prentice 60-55 to improve to 12-1 in the Marawood, 16-2 overall.
