Wausau— The Wausau RiverWolves and The Salvation Army of Wausau have partnered together for the teddy bear toss game on February 8th at 7:30pm. All fans are encouraged to bring a new/gently used Teddy Bear(s) to that game and when the RiverWolves score their first goal of the game fans throw their Teddy Bear(s) onto the ice to benefit kids in North-Central Wisconsin.Game takes place February 8th at Marathon Park Ice Arena
“Our organization takes pride in doing the most it can to help support the community and kids throughout North-Central Wisconsin. The teddy bear toss game upcoming on February 8th at Marathon Park Ice Arena is a unique family-focused example of that,” Director of Business Operations Zach Serwe stated.
Tickets for the game are available over phone at 715.869.3132, in person at the RiverWolves office inside Marathon Park Ice Arena located at 1201 Stewart Ave Wausau, WI 54401 or the night of the game. Doors Open 45 minutes before Puck Drop at 7:30p.m.
The RiverWolves are members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), one of three USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior leagues, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. The primary mission of the NA3HL is to provide a structured developmental environment for student-athletes who have aspirations of playing in the NAHL or United States Hockey League and eventually the NCAA or American College Hockey Association.
