Weston– The number two ranked University School of Milwaukee beat up on D.C. Everest on Friday night, winning by the final score of 7-1.
It was a tight contest in the first period as USM held just a 1-0 advantage. However, USM’s lead swelled in the second period as they scored three goals to Everest’s one.
USM continued the onslaught in the third period with three more goals to conclude the scoring.
Everest’s lone goal came from Ty Tretter off an assist by Grant Oertel.
Ethan Hurt recorded 53 saves for Everest.
