SPASH girls fall to De Pere

De Pere– The SPASH girls basketball team couldn’t overcome the De Pere tandem of Natalie Cerrato and Rachel Kerhoff  as they fell 75-53 in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

Cerrato and Kerhoff each scored 23 points for De Pere.

SPASH was led once again by Leah Earnest, who scored 20 points.  Madisyn Rogan added 13 points for the Panthers.

SPASH took a 33-25 lead into halftime, but was outscored 50-20 in the second half.

“We had a really nice first half,” said SPASH coach Kraig Terpstra. “We seemed to run out of gas in the second half.  Our defense let us down also.”

SPASH falls to 1-3 on the season and will play at DeForest on Saturday, December 1.
