Pittsville-–A 21-point second quarter led the Pittsville football team to a 35-0 drubbing of Dodgeland on Friday night in a non-conference game.
The Panthers managed two defensive touchdowns on a Tyler Ditzlar fumble recovery in the end zone and a 33-yard interception return for score by Sam Hardinger.
Coach Mark Denniston liked what he saw, “I am very pleased with how well we carried out our assignments on both sides of the ball tonight.”
Sam Hardinger threw for 118-yards and a touchdown while adding 48-yards on the ground and another score. He also returned an interception 33-yards for a TD.
Beau Merritt added 131-yards on the ground as the Panthers improved to 5-0 on the year and 2-0 in the Central Wisconsin Conference small school division.
Pittsville will host Marion/Tigerton next Friday at 7pm.
