Bonduel– The Amherst Falcons held off Bonduel and came away with a 21-13 Central Wisconsin Conference victory on Friday night.
Josh Reick led the Falcons with a big rushing night. Reick rolled up 171 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Chris Andersen added 17 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons.
In total, Amherst rushed for 229 yards.
Amherst kicked off the scoring early as they punched a one-yard Andersen run into the end zone late in the first quarter.
Neither Bonduel or Amherst scored in the second quarter, but Reick’s score came in the third quarter.
A 26 yard pass from Lincoln Cullen to Zach Toelle resulted in a touchdown to conclude the scoring for Amherst
Bonduel had two late scores, but was unable to close the gap.
Amherst improves to 5-1 on the season, while Bonduel falls to 3-3.
