SPASH softball dismantles Wausau East

Plover– The SPASH Panthers made quick work of Wausau East on Thursday, winning 14-1 in five innings.

SPASH concludes the conference season with a perfect 12-0 record.  The Panthers were crowned Wisconsin Valley Conference champions for the 19th consecutive season.

SPASH got a home run from Maddie Fink, who was 2-4 on the day with four RBI.

Sam Saloun hit a double for SPASH and went 3-3 at the plate.

Ally Miklesh had two hits, including a triple, for SPASH and scored three runs.

Meanwhile, Jayden Jones pitched a nice game for the Panthers, going five innings in the circle with six strikeouts and no earned runs.

SPASH earned a #1 seed for the upcoming WIAA Division 1 tournament.  SPASH will face either Eau Claire Memorial or D.C. Everest on May 25 at Fire Pro Field in Plover.
