Birkenholz voted the 2019 CWS Defensive Back of the Year

By David Keech January 19, 2019 Gilman— Central Wisconsin fans have spoken, and the 2019 All-CWS Defensive Back of the Year is Maverick Birkenholz of Gilman. Birkenholz collected over 1000 votes to take the top spot. Jon Perrin of Almond-Bancroft was second, with Nolan Hertel of Marshfield coming in third.
