Pronschinske takes control as Tri-County thumps Wild Rose

Plainfield— Tri-County and Wild Rose each picked up a big win when the took to the softball diamond, a win against Mother Nature. The two teams were able to get a game under their belts, and it was Tri-County that took charge and thumped Wild Rose, 19-1.

The Penguins jumped on top with a 10 runs in their at bat, and held a 15-0 lead after two innings. Tri-County pounded out 13 hits overall in the victory.

Leading the way for T-C was Erica Pronschinske, who had a stellar opening to her season. Pronschinske struck out 7 in four innings of work, and had a monster game at the plate, picking up a double and triple, and collected 7 RBI.

Alyssa Buecher was 3 x 4, and Shannon Sachs was 2 x 3 with 3 RBI.
