SPASH girls soccer shuts down Merrill

Merrill– The SPASH girls soccer team, fresh off a hard-fought 1-1 tie against Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, took care of business on Thursday against Merrill as they cruised to a 7-0 win.

Courtney Milkowski had two goals for SPASH and added an assist on a goal from Kaylin Kostuchowski.

Abby Gemza scored twice for SPASH.

Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers were goals by Olivia Clemens and Mya Zajakowski.

The Panthers’ conference record improves to 7-2-1.  The Panthers will enter tournament action at D.C. Everest this weekend before returning to conference play on Tuesday when they will host conference leader Everest.

Conference play will conclude on May 25 when SPASH faces Wausau East.
