Assumption Softball– The Royals picked up a victory over Pittsville this week and came away with two wins in tournament action on Saturday. The Royals are now 14-0 and firing on all cylinders as playoff action approaches.
Abbotsford Track — The Abby girls finished second and boys were third at Abbotsford’s Track Invite. The Falcons were boosted by a pair of first place finishes by Brock Halopka (100 and 200 meter dash) and Melanie Kunze, who won the 100 meter hurdles and anchored the Falcons’ winning 4×200 meter relay.
Wausau West Baseball– The Warriors fell to SPASH on Wednesday for their first loss of the season, but bounced back with a win over the Panthers on Friday to seize control of the Wisconsin Valley Conference standings.
SPASH Girls Soccer– The Panthers earned some much needed rest this week, but not before they defeated Marshfield 4-1. SPASH is 6-2 in the Valley with big games against Rapids, Merrill and D.C. Everest coming up.
Neillsville Baseball— The Warriors pounded out 13 hits and went wild against Granton, picking up a 20-0 Cloverbelt West win.
Spencer Softball– The Rockets cruised to their third consecutive Cloverbelt title this week and look like they are rounding into form.
Pacelli Softball– After stumbling against Shiocton, Pacelli righted the ship with big wins against non-conference opponents Athens and #2 ranked Grantsburg on Saturday.
