What: Pacelli vs. Rosholt When: 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 26 Records: Pacelli 5-4 overall; Rosholt 7-2 overall
Three Things To Watch
Pacelli’s Ground Threat: The Cardinals run game has been rolling along in recent weeks and last week’s win over Wild Rose was no exception. Jesse Raczek rolled up 289 rushing yards and Mike Fuller added three touchdowns. If the Cardinals are to keep the dream alive, they must be able to effectively pound the ball.
The Counter Attack: The Cardinals aren’t the only team in this contest with an established running attack. Rosholt’s Owen Neff racked up 255 yards on 35 carries in a 32-6 win over Marion/Tigerton in Level 1. The Hornets have averaged over 168 rushing yards per game this season.
The Pacelli Defense: Yes, yes, the defense makes an appearance in this section of the preview, yet again. As cliche as it is, the old adage that defense wins championships is alive and well. The Cardinals have won three consecutive games, in those games, the defense has allowed a combined 22 points. It’s tough to beat a team who averages giving up just over a touchdown per game.
By The Numbers

8: Points allowed by Pacelli in the second in the last three games.
