Appleton– The SPASH volleyball team competed in the Terror Invite at Appleton West, and the team proved to be a terror for their opponents as the Panthers took 2nd place, losing in the championship match to West Bend East.
After losing their first two conference matches of the season, the second pace finish at the tournament was a step in the right direction for the talented SPASH team.
“We played our best volleyball of the season so far today,” said head coach Julie Johnson. ”I was very pleased with our effort, the team played with a lot of intensity and aggressiveness.”
Nicki Hauser led SPASH with 44 kills and 57 digs, while Dani Brzezinski paced the team with 117 assists.
