Pittsville– The Pittsville Panthers followed up a big home win against Rib Lake last week with a 42-12 drubbing of Marawood opponent Chequamegon on Friday night. With the win, Pittsville improves to 3-2 in the Marawood, while Chequamegon is still searching for their first win at 0-4.
For Pittsville, Eric Hahn had another big night, rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns, including a 51 yard touchdown run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
James Lassa had three touchdowns to lead Pittsville.
Chequamegon returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, but was only able hit pay dirt again in the second quarter as Pittsville’s defense kept the pressure up for the remainder of the game.
In all, Pittsville had 324 rushing yards in the contest.
