Oshkosh– The Red Raiders of Wisconsin Rapids were defeated by Oshkosh West on Friday night by the score of 13-14.
Rapids got on the board in the first quarter when running back Ryan Duxbury scored on a four yard touchdown run. The Wildcats answered when Joel Hinke crossed the goal line to knot the score at 7.
West began the second half with a scoring drive, capped by a 8-yard touchdown run by Cole Yoder.
Rapids’ final score came in the third quarter on a 8-yard pass by Jayson Wiernik to Kraig Arndt. The Red Raiders failed to convert the point after try.
Rapids falls to 1-2 in the VFA South and 1-3 overall. Oshkosh West improves to 2-1 in the VFA South and 2-2 overall.
