Stevens Point– The SPASH Panthers volleyball team was defeated by DC Everest on Thursday night, 4-0. For SPASH, it has been a rough start to the 2012 campaign as the Panthers dropped to 0-2 on the young season in conference play.
“The outcome of this match was not what we anticipated or expected,” said SPASH head coach Julie Johnson. “We will be working hard on consistency and finishing strong in each and every game along with controlling our errors.”
The Panthers have a week to practice before squaring off against Wausau West on Thursday, September 15.
