Wisconsin Rapids volleyball travels to Stevens Point for the “Pink Game,” start time 5:30/7:00pm.
Wisconsin Rapids swimming hosts Stevens Point, start time 5:30/7:00pm.
Wisconsin Rapids tennis hosts Wausau East, start time 4:00pm.
Wisconsin Rapids Gold travels to Marshfield, start time 4;00pm.
Wisconsin Rapids cross country travels to Marshfield, start time 4:15pm.
SPASH girls golf travels to Marshfield, start time 3pm.
SPASH tennis travels to Eau Claire Memorial, start time 4pm.
SPASH soccer travels to Wausau West, start time 4:30pm.
Other News:
SPASH volleyball is hosting its 2nd annual Diggin’ the Cause volleyball event vs. Wisconsin Rapids on September 20th. Dave Kalloway and Stacy Cole from WIFC Radio 95.5 are the featured guests. There will be raffles and other fundraisers going on during the evening with a $7500.00 goal. All proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Center Fund @ St. Michael’s Hospital.
There is a good chance Vince Biegel will see the field this Saturday fo UW.
Oddity about this season’s MLB playoff format. the winner of the wild card play in game, will host the first two games of a 5 game series. It will revert back to 2-2-1 next season.
Speaking of odd, how will MLB decide ties for the wild card spots?
