Not standings, but rather power rankings.

1. San Francisco (1). Alex Smith playing as well at QB within the system as well as anyone.

2. Green Bay (7). Destroyed a good Bears team.

3. Houston (3). Undefeated and playing the games on schedule.

4. Atlanta (6). Defense looking good.

5. San Diego (11). Winning w/o Ryan Matthews.

6. Philadelphia (14). Keep beating good teams w/o Vick perfoming well.

7. Baltimore (2). Jobbed by officials, or lost their composure at home?

8. Pittsburgh (16). Not a Big Ben fan, but he wins games.

9. New England (4). Lost to the Cardinals? Bady not in sync.

10. Chicago (5). Cutler breathes controversy like no one before him.

11. Denver (9). Looked bad in the first quarter last week.

12. Arizona (26). Beat Brady and the Pat’s. No sure what to think of the Cardinals.

13. Carolina (22). Cam Newton getting hot.

14. New York Giants (15). What a comeback against the Bucs.

15. Detroit (10). Stafford out of sorts, or was that the 49er defense?

16. Seattle (28). Russell Wilson fever, catch it.

17. Dallas (8). Looked awfully awful against the Seachickens.

18. New Orleans (17). They just can not suck this bad, right?

19. Indianapolis (24). Got half their win total of last year, last week.

20. NY Jets (13). One, maybe two more bad weeks until Tebow time?

21. Cincinnati (19). Not sure this is the year of the Bengal.

22. Tampa Bay (18). No kneeling allowed, wow.

23. Washington (12). Injuries devastating the Skins.

24. St. Louis (25). Jeff Fischer wont take long to develop a contender.

25. Minnesota (20). Lost to Luck, but by skill.

26. Oakland (23). Carson Palmer is not the answer.

27. Buffalo (30). Tale of two teams so far.

28. Kansas City (21). Everyone’s preseason darling. Missing Kyle Orton?

29. Miami (32). Reggie Bush making plays, wow.

30. Cleveland (31). I like Trent Richardson.

31. Tennessee (27). What a fall in two years.

32. Jacksonville (29). Now on the clock…..
